Michelin restaurants Copenhagen 2020

February 17 was an important day for many chefs who have worked tremendously hard to get or keep this acknowledgment. One of the big questions for us was whether restaurant Alchemist would receive a star (or maybe 2?). Personally, we hoped restaurant Jordnær would be awarded with another star. What a journey they have been on and their dining experience in January, when we visited, was absolutely in the category of 2 stars.

Michelin has this year launched the new sustainability icon, the Green Clover, to recognize sustainable gastronomy. Restaurants with a Plate, Bib Gourmand or one, two or three Michelin stars will be eligible for this distinction.
